Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to Services purchased from Clarity Compass Consulting, LLC, doing business as Clarity Compass · AI ("Clarity Compass," "we," "us"). It is part of our Terms of Service.

Our work is custom consulting. Once we begin an engagement, time we invest cannot be returned. The policy below reflects that, while keeping things fair for both sides.

1. Free Clarity Call

Clarity Calls are complimentary. There is nothing to refund. You may cancel or reschedule at any time through the booking link in your confirmation email.

2. Project-Based Engagements (Fixed Fee)

Before work begins

If you cancel a project before any work has started, you receive a full refund of any deposit paid, minus a 5% administrative fee to cover scoping, proposal preparation, and payment processing.

After work has started

Once work has started, fees already invoiced are non-refundable, because we have begun delivering value and reserving time on your behalf. If you cancel mid-engagement, you remain responsible for fees corresponding to work completed and approved before the cancellation date. We will deliver to you any work-in-progress that has been completed and paid for.

If we cannot deliver

If we determine in good faith that we cannot deliver the agreed scope, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the undelivered portion and end the engagement.

3. Advisory Retainers (Monthly)

Cancellation

You may cancel your retainer at any time with 14 days' written notice (email is fine). Your retainer will end at the close of the current month after the notice period.

Refunds

Retainer fees for the current month are non-refundable once the month has begun, because the retainer reserves time and attention on a rolling basis. We do not pro-rate partial months. Any future months that have been pre-paid will be refunded in full.

4. Workshops and Group Sessions

Cancellation by us

If we have to cancel a workshop, you receive a full refund or, at your option, a rescheduled session at no additional cost.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email admin@claritycompassai.com with your invoice number and a brief description of the situation. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed electronically to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Please reach out to us before filing a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved directly and quickly. Initiating a chargeback for a charge that was authorized may result in suspension of further Services pending resolution.

7. Disputes

If you believe a refund decision is unfair, write to us. We take feedback seriously and will work in good faith to reach a fair outcome. Disputes that cannot be resolved are governed by our Terms of Service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes apply to engagements purchased after the updated effective date.
